Rankin, Jennifer. “Brexit Extension: Will the EU Grant One If the UK Requests It?” The Guardian, Guardian News and Media, 9 Sept. 2019, https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/sep/09/brexit-extension-would-the-eu-grant-one-if-the-uk-requests-it Generally, the Guardian is on the left side of the political spectrum.  In this article, as it analyses the upcoming decision of the EU as to whether or not it will provide an extension, there is much sympathetic language used in regards to the EU.  The Eu is made to seem logical, and almost like a parent disciplining a disobedient child, such as quotes like " The German chancellor, Angela Merkel, who once  described the UK as a “patient”  that needed careful treatment, seems particular conscious of the weight of history.", " She has signalled she is open to an extension for 'good reasons'." and "The EU has never wanted to be seen as pushing the...
" Trump lifts US sanctions on Turkey, says ceasefire permanent " Al Jazeera. “Trump Lifts US Sanctions on Turkey, Says Ceasefire Permanent.” USA News | Al Jazeera, Al Jazeera, 23 Oct. 2019, https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/10/trump-announces-turkey-sanctions-lifted-191023150745100.html. The author of this article shows little bias.  They mostly report facts, official statements.  There are no leading adjectives or loaded words that aren't in the context of a quotation, with the most leading sentence that I could find being "Trump also warned that 'crippling' sanctions could be reimposed if Turkey failed to honour its obligation to protect religious and ethnic minorities."  Even this is almost all due to quotation.  The article is a little Amerocentric, including mostly quotes from president Trump, and focusing highly on the political effect in the American political sphere, with American quotes coming from specific people, but "Moscow" an...
